Beach Volleyball Training

6:00 to 7:45pm

Nona Sports is offering beach volleyball training for experienced players.   All ages are welcome.  The volleyball training will be tailored for each team to learn and/or enhance: 

  • Bumping

  • Spiking

  • Bump + Hand Setting

  • Blocking

  • Receiving

  • Defense

  • Offense

  • Game Strategy

  • Serve, Receive

  • Serving

  • Conditioning

 When? - Tuesdays and Thursdays

The training is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:00pm to 7:45pm; starting in August 10, 2021 to November 4th, 2021, a 13 weeks program.   If a training session is cancel by Nona Sports, there will be a make up day on Friday afternoon and /or Saturday morning as indicated by Nona Sports.

Where? @Nona Beach

  • The training takes place at the East Lake Park Sand Volleyball Court (Also know as Nona Beach)

    • Please park on the available westbound parallel parking, adjacent to the Lake.

  • The best way to find the location is by putting the following address on your GPS:  10225 Lake District Ln, Orlando, FL 32832

What to bring?

  • Dri-Fit Shirt and Pants (Highly Recommended)

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Towel

  • Potable Water or Sport Drink

  • A gallon of water to rinse off the sand after training is done

  • Light Snack (Fruit or Protein Bar)

  • Face Mask

  • Sunglasses

  • A good attitude to learn and have fun

How to get started?

  1. Submit the following beginners online registration . (1st come, 1st serve)

  2. After submitting the online registration form, payment ($200) must be submitted to 407-234-0323 via Zelle.

Participation Fee

  • $200 / player / month

    • 3 Payments due on the following dates:

      • August 6th

      • September 3rd

      • October 1st ​

  • $35 Drop-in rate per day

What is included?

  • Beach Volleyball Training & Conditioning.

  • 6 Saturday Beach Volleyball Tournaments (in average 2 per month) at Nona Beach.

    • Tournament days will be release in August 2021​ (Subject to change)

    • Tournament wave times will be released on the Friday before the scheduled Saturday Tournament

  • Partner selection process:

    • Partners may stay together for the entire 13 weeks program

    • Partners may change based on the discretion and recommendation of Nona Sports for the benefit of the each player

      • Please, we encourage the families and the players to keep an open mind with the partner selection process.​

 Are we following the Department of Health Advisory?

Yes, we are.  The training is in accordance with the Florida Department of Health Public Advisory (FDHPA).

  • Training is held outdoors.  (Avoiding closed spaces in accordance with FDHPA)

  • Most, if not all, volleyball skills and techniques are performed by the players at least 6 feet apart.  (Avoiding close contact between people and practicing social distancing in accordance with FDHPA)

  • Training equipment is cleaned and sanitized.

  • Players are required to hand sanitize their hands prior to start with the Beach Volleyball Training

  • Players suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms are not allowed to participate.
