Leo has had the privilege and honor to teach and enhance the skills of beginner, intermediate, advanced and elite male and female volleyball players for more than 20 years.  He was introduced to Volleyball in 1987 and has been playing and coaching since then.  He co-founded the Lake Nona Developmental Volleyball League (D-League) in 2008 and Nona Sports Volleyball Club in 2011.  Some of his coaching experience of the past few years are described below:

• Head Coach of the 2018 - 2019 Nona Sports 14-B (14-B)​

  • 14-B were the 2019 Florida Boys Junior Regional Champions

• Head Coach of the 2018 - 2019 Nona Sports 12-B (12-B)

  • 12-B ranked 3rd in the 2019 AAU National Volleyball Championship​ and had two All American Players;  Fabiola Rivera​ and Mia Rivera.

• ​Assistant Coach of 2016 - 2017 Nona Sports 14U-N (14-N)

  • 14-N ranked 5th in the 2017 AAU National Volleyball Championship and had one All American Player; Isabella Rujano.

• Assistant Coach of the 2014, 2015, 2016 Lake Nona High School Boys's Volleyball (LKNH)

  • The LKNH Boys Team were the 2016 Semi-Finalist, ranked 4th in the State of Florida​ ​
