Beach Volleyball Training General Information

 What is included on the Beach Volleyball Training?

The volleyball training will be tailored for each group to learn and/or enhance: 

  • Bumping

  • Spiking

  • Bump + Hand Setting

  • Blocking

  • Receiving

  • Defense

  • Offense

  • Game Strategy

  • Serve, Receive

  • Serving

  • Conditioning

 Are we following the Department of Health Advisory?

Yes, we are.  The training is in accordance with the Florida Department of Health Public Advisory (FDHPA).

  • Training is held outdoors.  (Avoiding closed spaces in accordance with FDHPA)

  • Most, if not all, volleyball skills and techniques are performed by the players at least 6 feet apart.  (Avoiding close contact between people and practicing social distancing in accordance with FDHPA)

  • Training equipment is cleaned and sanitized.

  • Players are required to hand sanitize their hands prior to start with the Beach Volleyball Training

  • Players suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms are not allowed to participate.

What to bring?

  • Dri-Fit Shirt and Pants (Highly Recommended)

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Towel

  • Potable Water or Sport Drink

  • A gallon of water to rinse off the sand after training is done

  • Light Snack (Fruit or Protein Bar)

  • Face Mask

  • Sunglasses

  • A good attitude to learn and have fun

Days & Times

  • Days:  Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45pm to 6pm​

    • Saturdays starting at 6:45am

  • 2.5 to 3.75 hours / week (10 hours / month)

  • Cancellations due to weather will be made up on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings or as specified by Nona Sports​

How to get started?

  1. Submit the following online registration form before participating on the first training. 

  2. After submitting the online registration form, payment ($135) must be submitted to 407-234-0323 via Zelle or $NonaSports via CashApp for the additional monthly training.
